Running quickly into Starbucks. I immediately pick up my Venti, $10 cause of inflation, vanilla latte. I just came from my high paying, relatively fun job in New York city. Sipping my coffee I walk to meet up with a good friend of mine. We are literally bouncing with excitement because we are about to go to broadway again--this time see the next Lin-Manuel Miranda musical we have been crying over for months.
This is my life; I work hard, spend time with the people I love, and always am having fun doing exciting things. Although it is fun now, it was hard work to get to this point. I spent countless hours studying, using connections, and making good decisions.
I went to college and studied hard. I focused on my classes and became a better test taker then I was in highschool. I made some great friends who have stuck with me forever. I worked in study groups and joined fun clubs like the cross country club, and the musical club. I went to job fairs and did some research and finally figured out what I want to do. I got some killer internships and found something that I love while gaining experience.
I went to graduate school, found, a job and made great connections. I budgeted my expenses and used my money wisely. I love my job and everything in my life.
I continued running and staying in shape. Eventually I ran a marathon. I also saw my friends and the people I love on a daily basis. I do lots of things including traveling and occasional volunteer work.
I hope to have a very happy and social life. I know I do not know exactly what I want to do yet, but I know I will figure it out. ACLC has helped me to become more confident, a better speaker, and has helped me gain the self motivation I need for college and life. I can manage my time and do things on my own and this will come in handy throughout my life.
